Welcome to the world of a DI and Enneagram Type 8—the Challenger/Protector. If you're drawn to power, strength, and fearlessness, you might just find yourself nodding along to what I'm about to say. My personality traits include being the bold, assertive leader of the pack, unafraid to take charge and protect what matters most. But beneath that tough exterior lies a heart of gold, fiercely loyal and deeply passionate about justice and integrity. I'm a big believe that personality types need to be understood not only for your own good, but for the good of those around you. I hope the nuggets of wisdom I share are hope for you. I was the first in my family to pursue a higher education. Obtaining bachelor's and master's degrees with no financial help wasn't easy.  Taking full time classes while juggling three jobs and navigating student loans was difficult but I would not change a thing. I was driven by the belief that financial constraints shouldn't dictate one's aspirations. My journey serves as a testament that with dedication, anyone can overcome obstacles and achieve their dreams.   No matter what they say, the decisions you make at 18 will affect the rest of your life.  If you are a first-generation college kid or someone who is considering skipping college because of money constraints, let's talk. Don't let fear or lack of resources be a stumbling block. Continue to find nuggets of wisdom for you.

It is no secret that I love to travel.  I have been to some amazing places and still have so many places yet to see. Be prepared to discuss some of my favorite experiences, photos from bucket list destinations, getting comfortable eating out at a restaurant alone, meeting and making new friends along the way, how to do what you love on a budget, and how to make the most of those airline miles and free hotel stays.  I don't know about you but there are so many more destinations left to visit and never enough time or money.  Walk alongside me as we plan our next great adventure.  Traveling is always more fun with a group, so let's explore the world together!

As someone who was always taller and 'bigger' than other girls, I can relate to the lifelong struggles of not fitting in. Come with me on a journey over the last 25 years of where I've been, what I've tried, what worked, what didn't, and the newest solution I have found.  This section will feature advice from various health and fitness experts who can offer experiences, tips, tricks, recipes, fitness ideas, and nutritional advice.  My goal is to give hope to other plus size ladies out there.  We will not let our weight steal our joy any longer. Face it, when you feel better, you are better.

In 2008 I created a pet sitting company named Reveille Run which I ran for 8 years.  In 2021 my best friend and I started a walk-up drive through coffee shop and deli in our small town.  From the property improvements to the recipes, menu, vendors, payroll, HR, marketing, taxes, pricing, loans, and all the rest, we did it!  ALL.FROM.SCRATCH.

Owning a small business of any sort is not for the weakhearted and it is so important to stay connected to other small business owners to share ideas, complaints, networking opportunities and wins!  Let's stick together!
