Since 2022 I have been a licensed commercial insurance agent for an independent agency. My clients range from individuals to large corporations. I especially enjoy helping small businesses, startup companies, and family-owned enterprises in rural America find the right coverages to ensure their sustainability and profitability. Specializing in farm and ranch, commercial agribusiness, crop and livestock insurance.
Risk Management Specialist
After receiving a bachelor's in animal science and a master's in Agribusiness from Texas A&M University, I spent almost two decades working for a private contractor to the USDA Risk Mangement Agency. We developed crop insurance for underserved areas of the ag sector across the U.S. I blame my love for travel on being able to visit 32 states during my first five years out of college. My passion for the agricultural sector and the hard-working people who keep our world fed started early and remains part of who I am today. This is also the origin of my technical writing, editing, and training skills. And now add digital marketing!
Full Time Wife and Mom
While I do consider myself a career woman and small business owner, my most important job is being a wife and mom. Married for 18 years with 2 (almost) grown boys. A few other words that describe me and my way of viewing the world include adoptive mom, child advocate, rescue dog activist, coffee shop owner, rabbit whisperer, beekeeper, child of God. So if you don't like men, cows, kids, dogs, coffee, honey, wine and Jesus, this may not be the place for you. XXOO
